Between Balance Sheets and New Beginnings: My New Way in CX

Closing the year is never a walk in the park. If life were a movie, mine would have more dramatic twists than a soap opera. My friends keep telling me: “Always so successful!” , and they may be right. But when doing my annual balance sheet, I prefer to stick to the good stuff. Because at the end of the day, that's what really counts.↑
Of all the good things that happened, there is something that stands out like the sun on a cloudy day: Paula and Diego. They crossed my path and together we formed what I proudly call the woku Dream Team. It's not just a nice title, it's the best way to describe how three heads and hearts lined up to create something amazing.
When a new calendar is much more than dates*
A new year isn't just a fresh calendar to hang on the wall; it's a chance to start with a fresh mindset. And to be honest, I haven't always been the most flexible person. But this year, I wanted a change, a purposeful one.
What I really longed for was a way of working that would push us toward continuous improvement. Not only for us as a team, but also for those who trust woku. Because in a world where consumers are moving faster than a bullet train, speed in processes and tools isn't just an advantage; it's the norm.↑
The Five Pillars of Navigating in a Fast-paced Worlder*
Experience has taught me that keeping up to date is not a matter of magic, but of method. And these five pillars are my compass:
- React to change quickly: It's not just about flexibility; it's about getting ahead of yourself, taking the change head on, and adapting before anyone else.
- Collecting insights from each interaction: We do it constantly: Paula and I transform what we learn into valuable ideas for Diego to turn into real improvements for our app.
- Try with patience: How many times do we think we have a clear path, only to discover that we need to adjust? Learning to accept that is an art.
- Collaboration over hierarchies: At woku, synergy always wins. There's no room here for egos, only for results.
- Always learn with humility: Reading, listening, absorbing the experiences of others: everything adds up to avoid repeating mistakes.

If anything fills me with hope as we begin this new chapter, it's knowing that great ideas and a committed team can move mountains. A 2025 full of learning, improvement and shared accomplishments awaits us.
